What is a web experience?

A web experience is an individually developed interactive application that runs directly in a browser.

Unlike a conventional website, it does not primarily organise content into pages and menus. Instead, it creates a coherent digital environment in which users discover content through interaction, movement, decisions or a narrative structure.

No app needs to be installed. Depending on the concept, the experience can be used on desktop computers, tablets and smartphones and may also support WebXR or VR headsets.

Individual formats instead of standard templates

Every subject requires its own form.

A documentary story may be best told through films, interviews, archive material and an interactive map. A learning experience may require tasks, characters and progress tracking. A brand experience might focus on products, spaces, animation and playful discovery.

We therefore do not begin with a fixed technical template. We develop the structure, design and interaction around the content and the intended audience.
